Visibility State Specific Attributes Within a Block | 2024 | I am attempting to create a block that can be changed (via visibility state) in scale. Everything is working apart from my text attributes. They are all different sizes (corresponding with the scale they represent) in the block editor, but when I save and go back into the drawing, only only of the text sizes appears no matter the visibility state selected. How can I alter the text attributes so that they will change in scale and correspond with their assigned visibility states?

I used the "Between 2 Points" function, but I realized that it is in space, not on the surface. How can I make the middle point on surface based on the finger tip point and finger root point?

MultiBody Modeling | 2018 | SolidWorks allows multiple solid bodies within a single part at the same time. SolidWorks defines a solid body as a single contiguous volume. So, if you have two blocks in the same part that don’t touch one another, those blocks are separate bodies. Separate bodies can intersect, and you can have copies of bodies that are exactly on top of one another. Surfaces are also bodies. While solid features by default try to form a single body if possible, surface bodies by default make separate bodies. There are many uses for this type of functionality. At the same time, there are many ways to abuse this functionality and fall into traps. This chapter aims to help you take advantage of the benefits of multiple bodies while avoiding some of the potential traps. Master Model Techniques | 2018 | The term master model refers to a technique where an entire assembly is laid out or has its major faces constructed in a single part, and that part—or elements of it—is then placed into other files from which the individual parts are created. As such, the major faces and major relationships are created in a single file, while all of the details are created in the individual files. Master model techniques are generally used in situations that in-context design cannot deal with or where in-context design is cumbersome Uploaded on: Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:06 pm Last changed on: Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:29 pm |
