Re: Summary Information Last Saved Date/Time Incorrect
Seems a bit strange behavior that user can check out file that is released. I think this is just a terminology difference with the third party PDM system we use, I am not familiar with SolidWorks PDM but I believe this one works a bit differently. In this system checking out just means getting a re...

Re: Summary Information Last Saved Date/Time Incorrect
We work with a third party PDM. The date in the windows file properties is the date the file was checked out of the vault which is essentially creating a new file on the local drive so that is as expected. The unexpected bit is the last save date in the SolidWorks Summary Info and that it is saying ...

Summary Information Last Saved Date/Time Incorrect
Has anyone ever came across the last saved date shown in the summary info being incorrect? This is the file properties from windows. The date created and date modified is when the file was checked out by our PDM system, also notice the file is read only so should not be able to be saved. image.png T...

If you are creating the drawing view by dragging it in from the the View Palette there are also some options at the top of the View Palette for importing annotations.

Re: Laser cut square tube
As @Jaylin Hochstetler mentioned it is worth checking with the company doing the cutting. The company I work for also uses BLM Artube which makes this very easy as you can import an assembly and it will convert it to a single tube with notches for bending.

Re: WTF is going on here ?
Be fore-warned. Solidworks definition of "mirror" only works in certain conditions. I can't fathom why the programmers think this is good. Just in case anyone is reading this thread that doesn't realise what is happening with the mirror, it is trying to mirror the feature complete with th...

Re: Anchors on drawings
It's been a while since I did any work on templates so my memory is a bit vague or things could have changed but, something to check is that there are drawing templates(.drwdot) and sheet formats(.slddrt). From memory for any sheets that you have in the drawing template the sheet format is saved int...

Re: Unable to Select and Unsuppress Center of Mass Feature
He is looking to do it through API. Point taken! When I read the original post I was not sure if the API route was being taken because he was not aware there is a built in option to unsuppress features in all configurations hence the suggestion. If he already knew about this well and good but I thi...

Re: Unable to Select and Unsuppress Center of Mass Feature
To give you another option you can select the Center of Mass in the Feature Tree then go to Edit - Unsuppress - All configurations
I did a quick check in SW2022 SP5.0 and I am not seeing the Center of Mass being suppressed in the non active configurations.

Re: Solidworks BSP Threads
Pipe threads are a bit different as 3/4" does not refer to the size of the thread but rather the size of the id of one particular grade of pipe. Different pipe grades have different wall thickness but the od remains the same so that the thread is the same. Always confuses the students here the ...

Re: SW2022 SP5.0 Performance Pipeline Question
The option is actually called Enhanced graphics performance (requires SOLIDWORKS restart). It is the last option at the bottom in Performance. Depending on your graphics card your mileage may vary, a lot of uses here have had to turn it off due to issues.

Because the companies mentioned have never had data breachesThe cloud security is the main attraction cloud based licensing, it follows the ISO standard of security (majority of the big companies like Microsoft, uber etc uses the same data security standard)

Another option is if the part number column in the BOM is the actual SolidWorks file name right clicking on it should give you the option to open the file.

Re: Why Solidworks prevents adding this hole?
When I do a forced rebuild on your part after opening it I get an error on Flange W that the part intersects itself. Appears to be related to the two flanges not having any clearance (1.6mm material & 1.6mm offset). If I increase the offset to 1.61 the error goes away and I can create holes thro...

A great example in 2022 is that double clicking dimensions no longer loads the Property Manager first which made editing dimensions slower before. That is an improvement but as appears to be the norm it is still not well implemented for best efficiency. Select a dimension the Property Manager loads...

If the same happens on the business side as on the makers side that would be fun for customers in the European time zone. No access for a full working day. Also this is another thing to deal with:

I don't think what you are seeing is normal, I have the older W7100 graphics card and it is not having the issue that you are showing.

You can use ISldWorks.GetAddinObject to access commands in another Add-In but, as Josh has commented SigmaTube would need to expose the commands to allow you to call them. https://help.solidworks.com/2022/english/api/sldworksapi/SolidWorks.Interop.sldworks~SolidWorks.Interop.sldworks.ISldWorks~GetAd...
