Combining Planar Features in a 3-D sketch?
EDIT: I resolved this by just doing a regular old 2-D sketch on a reference plane :). Hi all, I'm referencing the 3-D sketch in the attached... So what I want to do is to take the sketch on the XZ plane and put it at the angle of the line in the XY plane. But how could I...go about doing this...? So...

Mating two points coincident - odd issues?
Hi all,
In the assembly file of the attached folder, I'm looking to apply a coincident mate between Point1 & point2. However, when I select one point in the mate tool, the other point is unable to be selected! This is just a very strange issue. Any ideas ??
Thanks in advance,

Re: Problem w/ Revolved Boss/Base?
Again, this is most probably due to you are having a concave surface as a base... This is just how concave surface behave, when you project a concave surface, you will get a flat surface, you might be able to distinguish it by adjusting the lightning and viewing the shadow, but i do not recommend i...

Re: Problem w/ Revolved Boss/Base?
Seem like a correct revolve to me based on the section view image.png As you are revolving a concave geometry along an axis, the model will look "flat" depending on your view angle image.png But if you look at the section view/ highlight the surface, you will notice it is still following ...

By default, your sweep profile will follow the profile (Unless you change it in your sweep setting) Hence if your profile is larger than your arc which is convex / concave upward**, they will self-intersect... I took a look at your file and noticed that your arc radius is smaller than your sweep profile height. Re: "Sweep Operation Failed To Complete"?
Sweeps aren't allowed to run into themselves. That's called "self intersecting geometry". When you put the sweep path in the middle of the profile and then put a sharp sketch transition in there, the sweep runs into itself. Think about what you are trying to create, and then how to follow...

Yeah, I showed you where the zero thickness error is. Don't do it that way. Use the technique I showed you with the shell feature. Fewer features, more correct geometry, better workflow, less messing around with sketches. 1.) When you say "extrude box", do you mean to just create an extru...
