Re: Midpoint crosses in drawing
Hello! To my understanding SolidWorks always includes a Point as a sketch entity, if Midpoint line is being used. So, what is kinda workaroundish thing, but doesnt have the annoying Point entities is to draw arbitrary line and add a relation from its midpoint to the second entity you are using. Yet ...

I dont know if camera views are possible, but you can save the viewport orientation as a "named" View that can be used in drawings from the View palette or View properties manager. Then, utilizing Display states you can show or hide components that are needed or not needed. Also, it is pos...

First thing I had on my mind is how the exporting software handles the data to be exported. I'm not familiar with Tekla or so much so with IFC, but by default SolidWorks tries to solidify all the geometry it is capable. SW prefers solids. To check how any geometry has been imported, you could also t...

Long time no see... I just wanted to give some follow-up on my projects. We decided not to implement SW Routing to our workflows. I think the major contributor for the decision was Routing's integrability with our current PDM (Aton & SolidPDM). Simply not feasible. Not worth the effort. Routing ...
