Try run a query on the Documents table and see what it has as the latest version. I believe that value is what drives the “get latest” action, I,e,. Which file to grab from the archive server. The network speed between your local PC and the archive server must be fast enough, regardless if you are on VPN… the technical jargon is “latency”, and it should be below 100 ms (Milli seconds).
