Re: Upgrade to 2024 SP 3.0
Good to know. Fortunately all our workstations are setup with identical hardware and a split on Win 10 and Win 11 OS's. It will be interesting to see what does, or does not, crop up. If it weren't for many of our customers having already moved to '24, I would wait until SP 5.0. But cant afford the ...

Re: workflow to save & use opposite hand version of part
Just seems the way to do it is configurations for the part and just think where to put features in the history if the data you need doesn't transfer when mirrored to a 2D drawing if you need them. Probably seems daunting if you don't do that kind of thing initially but it's pretty straight forward i...

What you can to to get past some of these problems where it looses reference on things splines is do the following - Use convert line to edges in sketch, then do the ungodly thing of fixing the geometry. Now you should be able to use that fixed convert edge reference without fear of it failing on re...

Any type of save body from the original file still has the appearance bug. The new part that is created, if you apply a colour to that part, under certain circumstance it will then lose that appearance on rebuilds. You have to add the colour to a feature in the new part to totally side step the prob...

Cost is such a big issue, cloud often ends up being a more expensive option with all things considered.
Sure, if your company has a hundred locations across the world and they need to access the same data/software it will probably be the best option.
