I've been using it for a few weeks. For me it's been no better or worse than other versions. I was happy with SW2024 sp 3, but updated to sp 5 when all of a sudden I couldn't edit sketch dimensions. Updating fixed that issue.

I have used desktop SW since 2009. It's all I have ever used, and all I anticipate ever using. I plan to retire in 2028, so even if they do phase it out completely hopefully I can hang on until then.

If all else fails with Drawings, you can always start a new Drawing with your new template, then copy and paste sheets from the old drawing to the new one. Any annotations that haven't been overridden with the Layer or Line Format tools will use the new Document Properties.
