Re: Life after subscription
I am still using my SW2014Pro license professionally almost every day. I have reviewed newer versions, have had access to a Maker license until recently, and my conclusion is, that there are almost no new features that I want and absolutely no new features that I need in later Solidworks versions. Re: Photoview360
Render done with PhotoView360. A highres render takes ~7 min on a Ryzen 5 3600. Why would I use Visualize when I can get any stand-alone render engine that doesn't require Solidworks subscription? I hate the fact that I would have to redo all appearances and render settings when leaving SW. PhotoVie...

Re: Does Zero-Thickness-Geometry exist?
What bothers me is that I can create two individual bodies without issues, but I can't merge them into one body:

This is a classic example of ZTG. 2021-03-29 20_18_52.jpg matt There may be an issue with this page because most images are blank except this one which shows up as an abstract painting....! https://steenwinther.com/Screenshot.jpg It is actually quite pretty  File-corruption on the server???

Re: Welcome!
Wow - Imagine my surprise when I went to the old forum, for the first time in years, and it was gone! Instead, they offered me a SWYM, but the water was far too deep for my liking. So great to find this place with a lot of familiar faces/names and with access to the best minds in the game. I am espe...
