Re: Another Renderer Bites the Dust
The development of graphics cards means that programs such as Vizualize will become obsolete. Today, you can cope without outsourcing to external companies to obtain good renderings. Recently I bought Twinmotion and... MASTER! (the some stable as UNREAL) The program is childishly easy to use, has a...

Creat a Macro to Add colors to each feature in a a part
Hi All I 'm not sure where to look on how to Add a unique color to each Feature in a part, the reason is that when i export the part to Unreal it would then allow me to assign Unreal texture a lot more easier, This would also be useful with surfaces on the part. It has been a while since i made some...

Have been doing some simple exploded assembly animations in Blender, it is much more friendly than SW if you know the basics. Unreal 5 has direct import of SolidWorks and several other Cad types as well, and you can sign up for free to use it in house. It does real time Rendering. the scary thing of whty i'm still on SW2018 SP5 is that to jump to SW 2021 SP5.1 requires that i Update the License server from Windows Server 2012 to a minimum of 2016, and work doesn't want to, so I stuck in the dark ages here. So i asked over at SWYM and a fellow helped me test the files from the Maker version with Unreal, the Part and Assembly files do not import with the Unreal DataSmith tool.
