Hello all,
I have been trying to update sheet format information on our drawings. I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with this. When i try to load a new format into the drawing it does not load or it will load on any sheet of a multi page drawing except the first one. The image below is how i am trying to load the new format. This is the same process i have been using if i can do it in 2020. The new format fails to load at time in 2020 however if i return to the image below and click reload the new format then loads into the drawing. 2021 does not give me the option to reload the format i can only browse. any thought would be appreciated as i have a mix of 2020 and 2021 files.

2021 sheet format update issue
To make sure I understand, you've modified your sheet format and saved it, but when you try to update existing drawings to use this new format it doesn't work? If yes, I've run into this before.
The fix I've used in the past is to change the sheet to a completely different sheet format, and then change it back to the one I want. This has always worked. In your screenshot it looks like you only have one, so you may need to save a dummy format so you can use that workaround.

Re: 2021 sheet format update issue
Reload is most often grayed out for me.
What I do is I double click on whatever sheet size I want, and then click on apply changes. Then close the sheet properties window, reopen it, and either the reload is now clickable, if it's not I repeat the process and it will do the same behavior as if I were to reload.

Reload will always be grayed out if the software thinks the highlighted format is DIFFERENT than the current one. I would create a "dummy" format like @Glenn Schroeder said, then select the dummy and then back to the original and click Apply.
However, if I just want to reload the same format and not switch to a different one, I use the attached macro from @gupta9665.

Glen/Alex,
Appreciate the assist. Your suggestions helped.
Glen you are correct that i only had one format available at the location i was looking at. I added a search path back into my file locations so that i could change to a format that i did not want and then change back to the one i want to use and it worked.
