Sorry if my Subject/Title is bad, I don't really know what to call it.
What I'm trying to do is add material in the bend region using the unbend-rebend method. I get that there's a bunch of ways to do this and often times the geometry doesn't need to be exact, but it needs to be close as we're remodeling existing part that's in production so we cannot change the shape just because we're changing CAD systems.
I start with a tab then add a flange on an edge that's not normal to the adjacent edges. Then the flange profile is stepped and skewed as well. To get the corner to fill in nicely I unbend the flange, define the desired shape with a sketch and fill it in with a tab. Then try to rebend, but it cannot. When I look closer at the tab feature, if it is suppressed, I can see the tangencies of the bend, after the tab they are gone, I'm guessing that has something to do with it but I don't know.

This is what I thought I was going to do:
And it makes a good dxf

Not a practical example, but a quick show of what can be done in SE. What is the workflow for this in SW?
It's not every day that I would use this functionality, but I do use it often enough that as I consider how I want to model something from scratch it is one of the tools that come to mind if I need special shapes in a corner.
Also, notice when starting a tangent arc I don't need to click on the end of an existing segment in the sketch. I can click on edge of existing geometry. And the single click tangent constraint. Select the constraint to apply then just click the coincident relation handle.

I hadn't realized SE had that capability as compared to SW. I like it.bnemec wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 11:44 am Not a practical example, but a quick show of what can be done in SE. What is the workflow for this in SW?

The only way I can think of doing it would be to draw it in the base flange and the edge flange. The base flange. The Edge Flange The completed part.
Edit: I am not a master, there may be a better way I am not seeing.

You can't add material in the unfolded bend area like SE, you can only cut away.bnemec wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 11:44 am Not a practical example, but a quick show of what can be done in SE. What is the workflow for this in SW?

If you only need material at the bend, your cut sketch can be colinear to the form line and SW will refold.
But material is needed outboard of the form lines to make a good bend, so this model won't make for a practical part.
