Was This Always There?

Using SW 2022 SP 5.0, and I have been since it was released however long ago.

I JUST noticed the "Properties Summary" Tab in the File Properties window. Its just like the one in the Cut List Properties menu... Has this been there all along and I just never noticed?? It is extremely useful!

It does not seem to be in 2020 SP5 which is what I am running at the moment.

I seriously just noticed this the other day, and was amazed I had missed it because it is such a useful interface.

I believe it was a new thing in 2022. I saw it in one of the whats new documents.

Ok I have another related question:

Why do some of my parts have the "Properties Summary" tab available in the Properties window, and other Parts do not show a "Properties Summary" tab? Parts are all multi-configuration, saved in SW2022 SP 5.0 (my current version). Does it matter if some parts were CREATED in an older version of SW?

if you RMB the top of the tree it should allow you to choose "upgrade properties" and the file "should be upgraded" to 2022.
that is for old file formats created before 2017 or 2019.

be careful as that upgrade could blow up your cutlist and other unpleasant things if your models have some issue.
