sorry if i ask question, but the "jokes thread" was different from the old "kitty dump swift" ?

in the joke, there were only jokes.

and in the kitty, there were general discuss, internet meme, funny gif, internet news, etc...

You nailed it with your third guess. They appeared in several episodes of the Andy Griffith show. The one on the right was the father, Briscoe Darling. HIs two sons never spoke. By the way, the same actor who played the father was Uncle Jesse on the old Dukes of Hazzard show.

but "joke thread title" isn't general enough
