Hi Guys,
I've had it in mind for a while now that I wanted to research it today.
I use automatic mate during assembly, but most of the time the mate is reversed. I can't redirect mates completely randomly.
Is there a method for this?
Why is the automatic mate reversed?

Is tapping on the "Tab Key" when you get a reversed preview not an option for you?

Re: Why is the automatic mate reversed?
I wish I could help, but since using SW2024 I've run into this occasionally, with Parts that worked just fine for 10+ years.

I believe face direction is the cause, there isn't really much solution to it as far as I'm aware.Ömür Tokman wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 10:07 am Hi Guys,

Face direction in the sense of;
The thickness of the part was extruded from a sketch. The sketch creates Face1, the face that represents the thickness is Face2. If your function states to affect Face1, then when you insert it, it will affect Face1, but if the part is placed in the opposite direction, then you get the result you are getting.

I tried in many ways. Mate ref. And it's one of them. I tried all the keys on the keyboard,,, The problem is that the same piece is sometimes right and sometimes wrong. If you find a method, I will share it.
