Siemens just launched a product that maybe nobody asked for, a cloud-based version of Sold Edge, Solid Edge X, as it will soon be known, SE-X.

Think their marketing might pull a Tesla, and a future iteration will be SE-XY?

Pricing seems a bit steep, especially as this is a named user license. Looks similar to 3dx SolidWorks though, basically desktop software with a cloud based PLM (Teamcenter in this case).
