Rough Shape

Someone over on Reddit asked how to make a rough shape similar to the attached part. Can anyone use a fillet on the top and bottom that transitions? I figured Full Round Fillet would just do the math, but it doesn't.

The two cuts don't go to the wide end, so 2 narrow flats are created, which impacts the fillets.

I added operations so that the original block runs to the end, eliminating the land I showed in my previous post.
I reorder the fillets and made the long edges as VarFillets computed at half the end widths in the sketch picture sketch (I had to add these dimensions).
Then I did each end, increase the radius to minimize the remaining central oval. (SW2019 attached)

Interesting Kevin. I only have 2018 here at home. I'll have to take a look at what you did when I get back to work. I honestly don't mess with fillets too often, but thought the software should be able to do it on it's own...Good to know it does and I'm just ignorant.

they could simplify it into a quadrant and mirror/mirror?

That's cool, tried to make a similar one.
2 ellipses, 3DSketch converted and trimmed an applied Normal to Profile on the Boundary
