sharing content across collaborative spaces in 3DX

hi all,

has anyone been successful in sharing content (not moving content) from a private CS to a public CS designated for external users?

it seems as if you need to be a Leader of the CS from which you are sharing content from. however, the Collaborative Spaces we have created do not show up in the dialogue for sharing when prompted in the Collaborative Lifecycle app.

is there a config parameter that needs changing?

update: the workaround we use currently is to share content directly to a specific user as opposed to sharing it to the CS. the external user can find content via the search bar so a list of object names/part no needs to be provided separately. going by the name "Collaborative Spaces" one would think there's a better way...

NOTE: using 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x / SolidWorks (not Catia + 3DX)

From the help docs:


You can share objects with active users only.
You can share objects with private collaborative spaces only.
You can share an object that you own with yourself. However, you cannot share an object with the collaborative space/organization pair it belongs to.
