Coordinate System piece picks in SW2024

On SW2024 SP3.1

So we're now able to use the "pieces" of a Coordinate System (i.e. the planes and axes).

But I can't pick them directly off the screen symbols. I have to right-click on the Coordinate System and do a Select Other, then I get the list of bits to pick. Is this usual?
