The other day one of our engineers tried to make a drawing from an assembly. Inside a sub assembly he made some of its components hidden edges visible inside the top assy view with hidden edges not visible.
A couple of the components (pipe like fittings) in the subassembly were not showing at all.
They were listed inside the view property under the hidden edges visible tab.
These components are visible if I switch the top assy view in wireframe (as wireframe obviously) or if I switch to draft quality.
I tried to rebuild the assy, the sub assy and one of those components, but they kept being hidden and not hidden lines shown.
is there some spr, bugs, or use case limitation for hidden edges visible into a drawing view?
We had some oddballs with weldings when using hidden bodies and visible hidden lines together in drawing views and it had a BR opened by solidworks.

Just to make sure that I understand:
You are doing this?
If that isn't working, sometimes I have to run a CTRL Q on large assemblies for it to update properly.

Yes I tried to set hidden lines for a specific component from both the tree rmb menu and the view property.DanPihlaja wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 11:32 am Just to make sure that I understand:

UU
I said above:

Ctrl+Q (even ctrl+shuft+q to force rebuild all configurations).
I found an SPR that says to send the model to SW for investigation.
