From time to time we are experiencing the BOM tab stuck at loading, even its toolbar is completely blank.
Tested with different pdm user from different dept., different files different os and pc... it seems a server side issue to me.
Other tabs are just working fine.
where used & others are working normally.
I tried to look at the SQL server into the logs and the process monitor, but I cannot see a stuck query or process.
probably due to my lack of experience any advice?
No noticeable spike in cpu use as well.
My VAR has no clue.
last time I noticed this issue after a a couple of days BOM worked again like nothing happened.

explorer BOM tab stuck at loading
problem: SQL database performance degradation.
solution: schedule and offline maintenance of vault db indexes
1. index reorganize (lighter)
and followed by / or instead
2. index rebuild + statistics update (heavier)
even setup as "fast" and dozen of cores assigned it could take 10 minutes or more during which your DB is not accessible, so schedule it during night or outside working hours.

Re: explorer BOM tab stuck at loading
@JSculley
it seems performance related.
today happened and now it is working again. it took 40 mInutes to output a bom in the tab, now the same takes a few seconds
