They should start by defining their whole idea process lol. There isn't even anything that defines what "gathering support" means and when it switches from "gathering support" to a different state and what makes it switch. They should also purge their listing by closing ideas that have been existing forever but never got hits and explain why they were closed.
There are ideas from 2022 that are still gathering support and have less then five votes. Some even have 0 votes. Surely there are also duplicates.
There's so many things that could be done to improve the process, I'm not really sure why it's taking them so long or what's so hard for them to bite the bullet and get things moving.
At least simplify things for the user. Dassault can have all the complex data it wants, they just need to deliver it simplified to the user.
Simplify the process --> Less frustration generated ----> More people will participate ---> The voting will be more accurate.
The reason I say this is because the "Alin effect" shouldn't be seen as a negative effect. He is a prominent figure in the community and a lot of people look up to him as he is dedicated and also very reasonable. To him, it is more then work, it is a passion. The "Alin effect" only displays that people are looking up to him because the platform makes things too difficult for them.
